I took my storytelling live on January 31!  I was part of an event at The Braid in Santa Monica, CA where Jews of Color told stories about their life. It was way out of my comfort zone. Big love to all of the other story tellers at the event. We felt like family! You can read more about the event in The Jewish Journal. http://jewishjournal.com/culture/arts/231912/tales-jewish-diversity/

Storytelling is a huge part of being in the field of journalism. If you have no idea what storytelling is all about, then study it as hard as you can. It is not easy to get good at it, in fact, it is one of the hardest things to grasp, but it is not impossible. Reading books is a big part of how people master it, so do try and make the most out of it. Just try your best, I am sure that you can do it.

I draw memoir-style comics that explore being Native-American and Jewish.
